I went down that road as well years ago and now I really don't much care for food, so I stick to mostly shakes and flax oil/natty peanut butter to make up my cals.

Ha.. it seems I miscalculated. I thought my shakes were 2600 calories each but was mistaken.. they are only about 2k each (which is probably better anyway). So that puts me at 8k calories per day (on a grad students waking schedule 10 am to 11pm)

But if I were to do the normal work week, 10k/day would look like this:

Core of the diet is based on the following shake (3-4 daily):
    - 2 cups oattes (900 cal)
    - 0.5 l milk (3.5% milk) (320 cal)
    - 3 scoops strawberry banan ISO MASS (650 cal)
    - 1 banana (100-200 cal)
    - 1/2 cup orange ice cream (100 cal)

    2070 cal

    Then meals:
    - 8 pieces bacon/3 eggs (1000 calories)
    - 1 cup cashews (1000 calories)... doesn't feel filling at all
    - 1 can salmon (300 cal)
    - 250 g pretzels (no salt) (1000 calories)
    - supper: 1 serving meat with big salad and normal salad dressing (500 cal?)

WOuldn't mind suggestions on other calorie dense foods.

Peanut butter rocks IMO as a calorie dense food, as does flax oil.
