If it's psyllium husk based, your bloat makes sense.

Personally I keep it super simple with my diet.
You can pretty easily find out how much fiber works for your diet/routine/body.
I like to hover around 30g+/-5 while cutting, usually it's the same sources every day. Oatmeal for breakfast, a cup of black beans with lunch, and brussel sprouts with dinner.

If diet/fiber are good, probiotics/digestive enzymes as others mentioned until gut health returns.

If it continues after that... Food allergy?

I am not accusing or judging here, just mentioning that the more processed stuff we cut from our diets, the smoother our digestion goes.
Your fiber supp is probably the culprit here.
Good question, turns out it is in fact psyllium based!

I'm cutting the fiber supp out today and then going to add a probiotic if that fails to work.

Like you mentioned, I cut process foods out almost entirely for that exact reason. I eat almost identical meals day in and day out because I like to know what effects me how.

Great advice guys, got a good place to start.

Ah okay, so it's totally the psyllium husk.

Psyllium husk is a special kind of insoluble fiber.
It has a very high fiber content and cannot ferment in the intestine (excellent for cleansing out gluten mistakes for my celiac ass).

Though you need to be aware that it will be absorbing and drawing water/moisture from anywhere it can to form a proper stool.
So as a result you have to drink a ton of water, get nice and bloated and twiddle your thumbs until it's go time.
I consider it more of an emergency laxative rather than a dietary supplement.

I get gas too man... and people laugh or think it's funny and it REALLY isn't. That shit (no pun) HURTS man...

I found digestive enzymes to help a lot as well... Webber makes one that you can grab @ Costco.. I take a few with meals...

There are a lot of undiagnosed food allergies out there in many people.
a lot don't realize they have one until they abstain or test for it. They just assume that's the way it is.

If your diet is clean, you're generally healthy with micros/enzymes/biotics and you still have bloat/gas? Could very well be an allergy or intolerance.

First morning with no fiber supp and I'm feeling better than usual. Definitely less gassy that'd for sure. I'm interested to see how long it lasts.

That could be your answer.....I too ate oatmeal every morning before my AM workouts but like you I was very gassy ,,,my wife was really getting pissed off about my "problem". My stomach was turning all day long and I would cramp up if I had to hold it in when I was in a social situation...I couldn't figure it out.. Then my wife and I went to Vegas for a week and I did not eat my morning oatmeal,,,after a few days I realized I wasn't gassy? I was all clear for the remainder of the trip...Got home went back to my oatmeal routine and the gas fired up that very day....that made me google oatmeal and gas...well sure enough there are lots of people having this problem with oatmeal....check it out...drop the oatmeal for a week and see what happens. Currently I do a smoothy with lots of good stuff in it, but only a heaping teaspoon of oatmeal, still gives me gas but no where near as bad .....wife is happy too..

Damn, I hope thats not the case because it's a prep saviour but I was gassy again today with out using my fiber supp so that might not be it. I'll give the no fiber supp a few more days and then I'll try pulling the oatmeal.

Definitely not something I would have thought to be causing me an issue. Thanks for the info brother, much appreciated.

I was eating cup and 1/2 of oats a day, no issue. Try thevprobiotic like I said. I started taking it now that my antibiotics are almost done and my gas has cut down dramatically, and at least stopped smelling bad.

Any monkey can lift weights, it's the eating part that's hard.
