Have a condition where the doc says I must lift for reps and not weight. 30-50 reps per set is what I have been doing. I am big enough I think. Does anyone have an opinion here? Was thinking it is very possible to get absolutely shredded this way and as mentioned I'm not one who has a problem to get size.

I can't say for sure but in my opinion, if you truly already enough muscle (because you'll build next to nothing IMO) you can probably do a reasonable cut/prep with 30 reps per set...getting that below 20 would be better and below 15 better still

The whole "higher reps = more definition" thing has been debunked in the 80s.

Altho u could go really light and do timed sets..of maybe 5 minutes each then move onto another exercise and another exercise etc. This would be similar to cardio maybe
