I found this section interesting and where he came up with the idea to send it out to the pubic:
That debate was rekindled when Oliver Verán, the French health minister, tweeted on Saturday that ibuprofen could worsen COVID-19. “The taking of anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, cortisone …)

So no anti-inflammatories, I wonder if this is all of them. Like Aleve, and natural ones too like curcumin and fish oil?

Really? Just yesterday WHO said that ibuprofen did make it worse and suggested to use acetaminophen is needed.

As far as I’ve read this isn’t proven and is being speculated over the fact that in SARS (and possibly MERS outbreaks as well) in many cases corticosteroids ie strong anti-inflammatory drugs could worsen lung function in those infected with the virus. These were used in treatments of those infected initially and it proved to be the wrong course of action in many cases and worsened symptoms.

There is zero clinical proof on this statement from what I’ve seen and it’s only been said because it’s also a known anti inflammatory. Let’s be clear though ibuprofen is not the same as the drugs that were administered there.

There have been patients during this COVID outbreak that were given corticosteroids as part of treatment because their lungs were so inflamed it was that or die. Some it helped, some it didn’t.

So it may not be time to shelve the Advil quite yet folks.

Great info, thanks for sharing. I will hold off on advil for now unless absolutely necessary.

Did you contract the corona?

I don't know. Been sick for 2 weeks but no fever. Chest congestion, cough, runny nose, tired. I haven't travelled and haven't knowingly been in contact with anyone that tested positive. Hoping to get better soon.

If no fever than probably not COVID.
Likely just common cold, seasonal allergies.
