Anyone on here find an alternate or have Dr. Patterson recommend anyone ?

He did not recommend anyone but did forward his suggestions to my family doctor and suggested a weekly dose of 200 mg along with arimidex at 0.5mg twice a week. He gave me 30 weeks of prescriptions so I haven't contacted my family doc yet. Hoping he will continue at the same dose. Even though Dr Patterson had me on a script of 320mg a week he said non specialists (ie family docs) can't go over the max suggested 200 mg a week.

-- Your list should help a good many here tumbleweeds. In fact, I'm gonna "sticky" it. It would be great to get a similar listing for every province.

Yeah, Montreal would be nice!!

Does anyone have experience with any of the bio-identical doctors in alberta or BC? It was linked earlier in the thread but here it is again for reference

http://www.bioidenticaldoctors.com/Canada.html

I went to get my bloodwork done at an endo refered by a GP and they only ran Total Test and estrogen, and estrogen didn't show anything below <100pmol/L with a maximum range of 150pmol/L, so basically they are showing you 1/3 of the info. Then MSP canceled SHBG and Free test because it didn't meet their criteria.

Its frustrating when you just want some info. Does anyone know of a way to get all your labs checked that show all the info?

Check out Crea-Med... Dr Luc Bessette. He's the guy I'm seeing now. Knowledgeable but a but too much on the cautious side. Haven't found much else in Montreal.

I'm hoping in the next 5 years that trt doctors and education becomes more readily available.

Yup out of pocket.

Men's health clinic wants 399 for initial appointment.

Dr welchber in aurora wants 900 for initial and three follow up appointments first year.

Dr komer is cheaper. I just got my appointment today. April 26 2016.... Eight month wait.

Other docs cost more but no real wait time

I realize this is old but $399 for an initial consult is excessive IMO. I think $250/hr is reasonable, anything more than this is gouging the patient. Call me an idealist, but evidence-based TRT (i.e. not an uninformed GP prescribing test E 200 mg q 2 weeks) shouldn't only be available to the wealthy.

Anyone know if any of these places are willing to give therapeutic phlebotomy if needed for high hematocrit?

Great thread.

I called Canadian Men's Clinic, 416-636-7377, located at 1 Eglington St, Toronto.

The receptionist said it's a $355 initial cost for the visit, and the doctor will take bloodwork etc from you then. You come back about a week later to discuss the results. She said there isn't a waiting line and they're booking appointments as soon as next week.

Has anyone heard of this place or had any experience with it?

I'm 41 and am interested in TRT.

I went to 2 clinics but dint get what i wanted. total waste of money. They have tie up with couple of compounding pharmacies and these so called doctors rip off patients money. They dont prescribe testosterone but everything except that like thyroid, metformin, hcg, vitamins n other bullshit.

Moved to Canada recently. Was getting TRT at EveresT Men’s Clinic in MN. Found an MD in Toronto who would take on the file: Deerfields. Very pleased with the Men’s Health programming.

Sorry to beat a dead horse but has anyone had any luck in Vancouver for TRT clinics or doctors willing to work with you?
