I'm not big on veganism or plant based diets only because they carry the same influence as fad diets - allot of ppl just jump on the band wagon as if its going to save lives.
You on the other hand have decided to follow your wife ( good for you ) who clearly has much to gain from it.
I'm sure you know it already but not all plant based/vegan proteins are equal. Try and find one that has a good spectrum of aminos. From my understanding, and correct me if I am wrong,
Aminos are not as easily obtained from a vegan diet.
But good on you for doing this with your wife, I hope you both achieve your goals

Thanks man.
Yeah - it’s been an interesting ride so far!

Her health is improving month over month.
As is mine I’m finding. :)

As far as amino acids go- it’s possible to get a complete profile from eating a wide and varied diet. No issues there. :)
It’s actually very easy to get all of the required nutritional elements from a plant based diet.

The only thing that is difficult is vitamin B12.
But that is easily dealt with from a supplement or from the fact that they add it to almost all plant “milks” now. As well as nutritional yeast or Spreads like vegemite!
