6 hours shift at the cat rescue 120 kilometers from home. My back hurts but I bought a cushion that I use in the car and it helps.
I see an orthopedic specialist on Wednesday. I want to know what to do to release this back pain.

I’m gonna see what the orthopaedic surgeon says and go from there.
I won’t work out at all this weekend because of the PET scan that I have next Tuesday. I’m stressed out.

2 kilometers patrol looking for a missing cat.

Then I drove all the way to Limburg because there had been a flooding at the cat rescue where I’m a volunteer and they needed help to remove the linoleum, empty and disassemble cabinets, load everything into a van and drive to the recycling park.
I was back home by 4 and did a short resistance band workout.

1x15

Front squats
Lateral walks
Side lying Hip abduction
One arm bicep curls
Triceps kickbacks
Triceps pressdowns
Glute bridge (it relieves back pain)
Flyes
Splitter
Bench press (close grip)
Military press
Tomorrow and Saturday it will be light cardio only. No weights until Wednesday after the PET scan.

That is a really cool what you do for our cats. I also wanted to mention how much I like your training style! You don’t mess around and hit the muscles from multiple angles. I like that.

Btw: I have had a cat(first one as an adult). Found him at some fresh water springs that people frequent. I just had gotten a dog months before. This cat was in bad, bad shape! I said, “ If this Kitty is by my vehicle when I get back from swimming/bbq; I am taking him!(A lot of cars/people around but he came up to me specifically and wouldn’t leave.
I was out for a good 5hrs, cane back and he was sitting there...at my driver door! Omg. Basically I thought he was a kitty, but he was over a year old, just majorly malnourished, sooo skinny that his spine looked damaged. He is black cat and is about 6 yrs old; he has cost me over $6,000usd in surgeries for some encephalitis type issue that was never really resolved or correctly diagnosed. He came home falling over: slamming into walls: flipping over; literal hell. After about a year if in and out of “My Vet” doing every test known, trying every treatment. He ended up better but; has symptoms of Alzheimer’s/Sundowners and just eats a ton, sleeps, and plays with a feral cat that is mine(past 3 years)but has never come in my house. I can say that I NEVER thought I would spend that kind of money on a CAT! But, I did and I definitely wouldn’t do it again because, it was too stressful, the vets picked these brain problems(w/ zero cure and almost no answers. A lot of antibiotics regimens, medicines, emergency stays, week-long stays, all these diagnostics tests and scans ;
Over and Over. He definitely has permanent brain damage but, he is 60% better post all the 6 different hospitalizations for multiple problems due from this, “what I think was a bacterial type encephalitis from other feral cats or he ate poison from someone’s lawn. He always chewed on grass. My point was, I never thought I would be so concerned about a Cats Health, but; Boy was I wrong! My Vet asked me over to his “New Farm” to hang out, lol! I can’t help but feel....I paid for part of that FARM! Between my Cat and Dog! They are just the best though.

Wow, first of all thank you for checking out my log. The fact that you like the way I work out makes my day!

what a wonderful story of this cat that adopted you and that you kept and cared for despite his condition. You have your heart in the right place for sure. $6000 is a lot of money.
When I adopted a 15 years old stray with health issues (he had been dumped by a student on an university campus when he was 3 and was only caught last year by a rescue) I had to build a cat run (1809€) because there was always a risk that he would run away. He has a chronic lung infection, ear infection and other issues. Each time I go to the vet I pay 100€. In June he stayed at the vet clinic for two days and I paid 400€. Tomorrow I have to go and see another vet who will check him out because he has kidney issues and also suffers from constipation. I hope he will be ok because I love him to bits.
He hardly goes in his cat run anymore and has become a house/lap cat (see pics when he was caught in May 2020 and now),
