I don’t care how much I lift, as long as I look like I lift a lot 🤷‍♂️

I am trying pretty hard for a new max bench PR though, but once I hit that then I will go back to not caring again hahaha

I bounce back and forth between powerlifting and BB styled of training and diet
I get bored easily.
Usually about half way through a cut I want to bulk and vice versa

I’ve played around with some strongman stuff which is fun, thinking olympic style might be fun for a few months

If you do decide to give it a shot. Look up clarence Kennedy on YouTube. One strong motherfucker that does all Olympic lifting

I do power cleans as a supplemental and on some off days. I also occasionally do muscle snatches for variety. Oly lifting is one of the many things I'm bad at.

A good friend of mine did powerlifting for years. Competed, took multiple firsts/seconds over the years for his weight category. And especially being natural he was pretty gifted. He recently switched up to Olympic style lifting during lockdown, due to only having half the amount of weight he normally trains with at home.
He really likes it and is going to continue it

I have always been too afraid. Seems like something I personally would need a good coach for. If there was one in the area I’d maybe give it a go. A lot of people seem to do it wrong especially CrossFiters.

You seem like a fairly experienced guy, so if you think you can get a solid plan together than why not.

Well my new massage broad has a nice private gym and coaches it, she’s competed for a long time

I would never try it on my own id probably hurt myslef lol

Let me know how it goes. I tried C&J a few times and was really hooked but as weight gets heavier my elbow screams in agony on the catch. :-(

Personally I think oly lifting is awesome

That sounds like a great excuse to try it...some nice eye candy if nothing else. It's not something I will try, takes a lot of time and skill which I'm not prepared to invest in.
