may not be brazil nuts but one of the reasons I eat raw walnuts and mixed nuts almost every day as shown in my food log. Nuts are loaded with lots of good vitamins and minerals. Good points Mr. Tuna.On another note: Anyone with thyroid problems who have almost non existing selenium levels you can fix that! Either via supplement or via brazil nuts (latter is the easiest if youre not on a strict diet since they really pack on calories from fat) Try to aim for 500mcg+ per day. This is so important alongside Iodine for thyroid health its sad that it gets overlooked so much. For nuts id recommend having 10-15 nuts a day that roughly comes close to 500mcg.
