Hey everyone,

I'm a natural 23 year old and have been lifting for 6 years, sitting at 210lbs at 15%bf. I have been seeing very minimal gains in the gym for just over a year, which is starting to kill my motivation as progress keeps my fire burning. I've decided to take the leap and start my first cycle which will consist of the following.

Week 1: 200mg Test-E, pin Monday morning. 200mg Test-E , pin Friday morning. Repeat this for 14 weeks.

At week 10: Add in 40mg of var every day for the last 4 weeks. My last 4 weeks will also include the same Test-E pins on Monday/Friday with the same dose.

My question for you guys, is I know very little about pct. When should I be adding in my nolvadex/how much? also when should I start pct with HCG and clomid/how much and when?

Thanks guys.

I also suggest you get some blood work done before you take the leap.
The whole point of a pct is to help restore your bodies natural hormone production levels. If you don't know where you started how will you know you've successfully restored it?
Even if it means a delay in your start date.
Do it right. Don't rush any more than you already are.

TEST only my friend. Your 23 your levels will already be high, no need to complicate things here.

Do a few cycles with TEST only and then add things in from their.

As far as PCT goes, HCG (2500iu E4-5 days for 20 days), and Clomid (50mg AM / 50mg PM for 21 days) is all that is needed.

HCG dosage is lower than I would normally advise, this is due to your age...

Per @KetoMuscles - I wish before I did my first cycle I knew exactly what was my hormonal numbers were. Even if you have to pay through letsgetchecked - it’s money worth investing if you plan to run future cycles.
I didn’t run two co pounds together until late 40’s - just test and spread them out so I never needed very much to get a good boost. My recent addition of deca and then primo in low dose was for healing. I never and obviously never will compete.
Good luck bud.

Hey bud,

If you were going to add Anavar, it would probably be more optimal to add it to the front-end rather than the back-end of the cycle (some people add it to both front-end and back-end). Var kicks-in almost immediately and has a very short half-life, whereas test-e takes a few weeks for levels to build-up and stabalise. The idea if front-loading Var is to abridge the build-up time of the Test-e.

But I agree that test only is always the way to go for first cycles. My preference for test-e is 500mg/week over 400mg/week.

In terms of ancillaries, I just used Aromasin (Exemestane) and had no problems at all with HTP reset.

Hey @tristan - agree with your comments but there is a little danger in taking test and var at the start on your first cycle. Var is great for strength and your muscles can take it but sometimes the tendon and ligaments can’t. My good friend, did his first cycle just like that test and var. his bench was going up so fast he tore the tendon attaching his chest to his shoulder - sorry I don’t know the tech term but he had surgery and is better but his chest is forever messed up. Just a thought but chances are he would be fine. I’m just a cautious old bastard now after all my injuries.

If I might add a word of caution having gone down this road myself - DON'T rush taking AAS if you can help it. You're young and the gains should be easy to obtain! Eat eat and then eat some more! Take creatine! Train with a new partner/coach/system...you'd be amazed what a shock to the system will do for you! Especially at 23!

I know where you're at but having been a mid-20's strength athelete who used (without my consent/knowledge but that's another story), I never fully recovered and I'm now in my 40's (just) and I'll be on trt for life. (which I'm not complaining about per se) but weekly pins and complications that can come from that with trip planning/daily life etc....

anyway - just a word of caution! (you probably won't listen anyway, I know I probably still wouldn't have...but I would have liked someone to give me at least all the facts before I dove in!)

Good luck and WELCOME to the land of MONSTERS!

Yeah for sure man - especially considering that the Var affect comes on really quickly.

Also a clarion call to get technique and position immaculate, especially for higher-risk lifts.
