Vasyl (Vasiliy) Lomachenko is IMO the greatest active boxer today. Its a thing of beauty watching him fight. His footwork/head movement blows my mind. Many people say hes a glitch in the matrix Lol. Some fighters have even quit in between rounds because he was just too much for them... a puzzle they knew they could never solve.

His father (his trainer) is a straight up wizard. His training technique/style is amazing. He has Vasyl doing many unique drills for his coordination/movement and its pretty cool to watch. When Vasyl was young his father put him in dance for around 4 years to improve his footwork, which clearly has helped along with the many other things he has drilled into his brain. I believe his amateur record was 396-1 and he avenged his only loss twice. Ridiculous record before turning pro.

I honestly believe that Vasyl will go down as one of the greatest boxers of all time. Up there with the other big names.. Ali, Tyson, Sugar Ray, Louis, Duran, Marciano, Mayweather etc. It would be nice to see him get some tougher competition though. Hes moved through a few weight classes already.

Any other Lomachenko fans out there? What do you guys think? For people who dont know him... check out some of his highlights! Im hoping he fights again soon and I especially hope he ends up fighting Gervonta Davis... I think Davis is ducking him Lol.

Check out a bit of his highlights.

I enjoyed this breakdown as well...

I agree 1000%. Ive seen all of his fights and there isn't a guy in the past or present doing the things he does. He is on a whole other level.

Vasyl and Canelo are my two favorites currently and to be honest, boxing has never been as good as it is at this point in time. There are so many outstanding fighters right now in all weight classes.

Glucophone is a reed percussion contraption on which you can play with your hands and unique sticks.
The uniqueness of this appliance lies in the information that ALL AND SUNDRY MAY TAKE ON ON IT.
Playing on it, you will participation probe vibrations that will envelop you and everybody who is about, wadding with balance and joy. It is not without reason that this contract is called Gleeful Drum (Drum of Elation) abroad. The limelight which has directed to the playing on the glucophone switches from the usual internal dialogues, algorithms, and ratings to the aware weaving of the lyrical pattern. The memory, at the unvaried on one occasion, is filled with exaltation from originative activity and actively forms stylish neural connections, and the essence and consciousness are immersed in a stage of impenetrable easing up call of consonant vibrations, alike resemble in tonality and colour to a bell ringing.

I'm so pumped for this fight. Lomachenko for the win. He has much more experience and ring IQ and has been in situations in fights that Lopez simply hasn't due to his age and experience.

I think the potential for Lopez to knock him out is there BUT, he has to actually connect which is very hard to do against Lomachenko.

I think Loma either wins by desicion or in the later rounds or with a body shot or a towel from the corner.

Was I ever wrong. I tell you what...Lopez really stepped up to the plate and delivered. He took away Lomas angles and boxed him and beat his at his own game. I respect that and he deserves that win. He put on a great performance.

One judge scored it 119-109. She should be investigated for that non sense. Wtf.

I felt the outcome would be the same as what you predicted. But Lopez looked great! Crazy to think he is only 23. It was weird watching Loma sit back for the first 6 rounds...and his father kept telling him to be patient. Maybe it was the 400+ days since his last fight that affected him? Maybe Loma was concerned about the power Lopez holds in his hands especially early on in the fight?... because fuck me Lopez has some KO power! Lol.

I am by no means taking anything away from Lopez, he looked amazing and boxed an incredible fight. He was taking away his angles like you said @NOVITEC and it was very impressive to see. I enjoyed the fight and I look forward to the rematch whenever it happens!

And your right that judge was out to lunch on that one!! Lol

Lomo slow start fucked him over you cannot give away 6 rounds and hope to dominate the last 6 I'm not taking anything from lopez that kid came to die in the 12th and out boxed him the first 6 he wasn't letting that fight be a draw in the 12th but had Lomo started in the 4th instead of the 6th he wins that fight in my opinoin.

Maybe the 14 months off hampered his performance but I did not see that fight going that way I truly think they need to run that back in like 4 months.

Ya its hard to say @SmashingMachine @Hussell. Ive watch all of Lomas fights, multiple times and he always starts off slow but, this was different. I mean he barely threw 20 punches in the first 6! I was thinking It might have been the lay off or maybe having no crowd there was messing with him and then I though maybe, just maybe he's done. No fighter stays the best forever. He's 32 now and thats getting up there for a boxer!

I wish he would have done what he did in 8, 9, 10 and 11 in the earlier rounds. Maybe the outcome would have been different. Lomas was number one when it came to downloading a fighters data and then executing all the whole never getting hit. And it's not as though he's been up against bums. He's fought the best of the best. Theres never been another boxer like him. He didn't look like the same guy he did before thats for sure. Thats why I believe its the end of the road man.

I refuse to think that hes done! Lol. Maybe its because Ive been a Loma fan for so long that I just cant accept that... but after only one performance like that... I cant count him out just yet. I do feel that his time off played a huge factor. Ring rust is real. If he has another fight or 2 like that... then I will have to come to that harsh reality that he is done haha.

I also dont understand why he took so long to ramp up. I was scratching my head wondering wtf was happening Lol. I kept saying.. this will be the round that he turns it up! Like you said, if he would have started early and fought like he did in rounds 8-11 it would have been an entirely different story. It was weird to see. I felt he looked amazing in those rounds... but even then not quite how he normally looks.

Im curious to see who his next opponent will be or if they will give him the rematch immediately. I feel because of what he has accomplished in the sport... and the top guys hes fought... that he should get an immediate rematch. Just my opinion.

Ya, Im not sure he's done either. It did cross my mind though. Like you, I have been a fan of him since day one as well so, to even think that pained me lol.

Listen man, he should get a rematch, 100%. Look at all the rematches that have happened in the past with champions. If anyone deserves a rematch its him.

The next fight each of them should get is eachother. Who knows maybe Lopez got lucky. Sure, he looked great and all the respect to him but, he was not fighting the Loma we know.

I'm looking forward to Terence Crawford vs. Kell Brook. Crawford is another dude whos just a cut above the rest!

I will say though, its pretty weird watching boxing now without the crowd and the hype and all that that I've been used to for the past 30 years!
