I had two of these home made badboys today for breakfast. Roughly 660cals per cookie.

Cup of egg whites, 210g rice, 4 gluten free toast with jam, 1 banana.
Hey @max199445 - I am gluten free as well. Are you eating GF toast because you prefer it or have to (allergies)? Just curious which bread you like the most. I can't remember the brand name as my wife does most of the shopping but we finally found a good bread.

thanks,
GR

How much do you weigh? I'm 230 as of today and I maintain with 2900-3000 calories. Some people who weigh 55 lbs less have to eat more to maintain. Everyone's metabolism is different and takes a while to figure that out.
Are you looking to maintain or grow?

I prefer to have a big breakfast around 1000 calories of healthy foods with approx 100 grams of protein. My meals are smaller throughout the day except my post work out meal is always high in calories and protein too.

2000 calories is not a lot at 195 lbs but the macro balance could make a big difference for dropping fat. I'm not fat but I don't have a 6 pack, I have veins sticking out most places and my stomach is very hard but I believe it might be called a 2 pack lol.
How long have you been on 2000/day?

Its been 8 weeks I was actually lower then that at first but was advised to bring it up to 2000 minimum so I did. I have lost 15lbs.
I have stopped losing weight the past 2 weeks I think its because I am adding muscle. Could have been my excessive thanksgiving lol .
I dont know about manipulating macros to help lose weight. Less fat and carbs more protein?
I am pretty inexperienced with diet but I am reading and learning everyday.

you can carb cycle - on days off more good fats for energy and protein and keep carbs under 100 - around 50-70 could be good, on work out days up the carbs a bit and decrease your fat.
It is just playing around to see what works for you but less carbs, good fats, and protein will help shed fat. I try to carb cycle and have to drink a lot of water when I'm low on carbs as I am hungry but you get used to it.

I eat more protein 350-450 grams because I weight more. If you want to increase your fats get them from good sources like EVOO, real peanut butter, almond butter, etc.

I know rest, training, some gear can help a lot but food is so much more important than any gear or even training. You can train and if you don't eat right for your goals you will never reach them unless you are a genetic freak.
I learned a lot here and use an app - I also check the info on the app but it helps me plan my meals in advance.
I get up an hour early everyday or prepare the night before so I can take my meals to work with me.

I'm not a nazi about it but I am not a genetic freak and was never 230 before. I don't take much gear and most of my strength gains and added muscle is from eating the right food at the right time. I learned to shut up and listen to people who know more. I am by no means an expert as I learned from guys here who know more than I do. Luckily I had a guy give me a roadmap and I sorted out the best way to get there for me as we are all different.
Good luck with your progress.
