How do you guys take salt, and how much? Never tried, and google can be a bitch to navigate for reliable information.
Start at 1g which is roughly 5-6 twists from the salt shaker, per meal and just add it to your food. Salt goes with everything. You’ll have to use Himalayan salt because there is a massive difference in quality. I use it in pre shake also.

I understand the value of salt and I consume plenty of it. I've been around for a while. I was talking specifically about preworkout.

My typical preworkout meal is 50g of carbs from cream of rice/cream of wheat + 2 tsp natty PB + 1-2 tsp herseys cocoa powder + stevia to taste and Himalayan pink salt I add double to that meal what I typically have with each meal. Which is 1/8 tspn I think.

Then my intra workout I'll have 1/4 tspn dissolved in 2.2-2.6L of fluid and right before warming up in the gym i hit another 1/4 tspn to the dome.

Just gotta be sure to have atleast 1 potatoes/sweet potato per day for potassium. Maybe 1 cup of spinach/kale a day minimum...and I also supplement magnesium glycinate or biglycinate which is very often over looked.

However im also 340lbs currently so my demands are higher than ur average bear

Oh also for anyone reading this....even tho im the OP my opinion is i like to have 6g minimum of citrulline. Dunno the diff between l citrulline and citrulline malate.

Betaine is a big one for me...2.5g minimum.

Beet powder. Suuuper underrated imo. I do 10grams pre and another 4g with my intra.

Pink salt of course.

Cialis..i take it consistently. Either 5-7.5mg 90 min before every workout....or what i typically do is 20mg every 2nd or 3rd day.

Taurine @ 2g intra

Arginine is useless. It can't pass trough liver and intestin.Big waste of money.Same if you're taking 20g per day.I'm suggesting to read the nitrc oxyde mechanism of the body.Your body can make his own arginine with the right supplement .

I like to use Gatorade to flavour or Mio honestly. 1/4 Tbsp of pink Himalayan sea salt.

Staples are fast digesting complete protein (peptopro or hydrowhey) and some EAA. anything that doesn’t require too much digestive work from the body (since it’s digestive abilities are diminished during workouts) along with a fast transit carbohydrate source to fuel the workout.

You can add things to facilitate a better pump. My go-to is Celluvol by MPA Supps. You can add citrulline malate (5-10g) for vasodilation and beta alanine (3-6g) to help buffer byproduct production from lifting.

A major thing I try to make sure is to drink a good portion before the beginning of the workout and sip the rest throughout (the harder you train the slower you digest). Always good to make sure it’s not a thick solution, the thicker it is the slower it digests so proper dilution is key.

Usually any pre workout blend with 6g citrulline. Currently taking redcon1 total war.

On prep, especially towards the end when the pumps are hard to come by, I add 1/2 teaspoon of salt with my pre workout.
